DVS with Traktor s8

Good day to all,

My name is Michael H. Talbert and I’m having an issue with my Traktor s8 controller. My controller is connected to an iMac computer. Here are the following specs:

• · Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB
• · Serial Number C02GC81CDHJP

I’m using 2 Technics Quartz (Direct Drive Turntable System SL-1200MK2) with 2 Shure WhiteLabel needles. I just upgraded from Traktor Pro 2 to Pro 3(which I must say was well worth the upgrade) and the problem is the same as in Pro 2. On my computer and screens on the s8 I keep getting this error, “Right channel missing Check cable connections”. When I do a backspin on the turntable the grid on the screen continues to go forward instead of it supposed to be going backward. Also, keep in mind that there isn’t a problem with the 8 keypads they work fine. If I change the needle from the right turntable to the left turntable the error just moves from the right turntable to the left turntable. And I have just found out that the problem might be one of the needles. Also, keep in mind these are brand new needles. I changed out both needles to 2 Ortofon A/S needles and the error is gone, now I see this error, “Low Timecode Quality check source”. I’m at my wit's end and I’m trying everything possible. The reason why I chose Traktor to look for answers is that I think it is a Traktor issue. I didn't have these problems when I’m in straight turntable mode. It’s when I hook everything up with the s8 in DVS mode.
