Dynamic Comments

First: Great job on 3.4! We've been waiting for smart playlists!

Second: I'd like dynamic comments. Meaning depending on what playlist I'm working within, the comments are specific to that playlist only. So the same track in multiple playlists can have unique comments in each playlist.

I believe this request was made years ago but a quick search of this forum section yielded no results.

Third: Please see my post about the outstanding bug. The original post was closed and unfortunately I followed up with a new post in the archive section. I didn't want to repost yet again in the right section, so if possible please review and move accordingly. Thanks!

 

But you can just write a few comments in any sequence that makes sense for you?

 

Or use different comment fields fit different reasons - then, hide any non-relevant columns in the Smart Playlist.

That’s what I do, and is the reason that I want ALL tags that are available in a music file to be available to view and edit in Traktor...

 

Yes of course, that's how things are done today. It does get messy over the years especially with timeless tracks that show up year after year in different playlists.

I agree with making all tags available... energy levels already takes up one of my comment fields.
