    Hello Luisoliveira,

    I am not sure if Eastwest maybe offers an upgrade to their Play engine which is fully compatible with the IntelMac platform. Another option would be our Kontakt 3 which can load these libraries directly. A Kontakt crossgrade offer is available in our online shop for users of older Kontakt/Kompakt/Intakt based libraries.

    I'm also an intel-mac owner interested in Eastwest products. If I get it all straight, the reason why it does work on everything else than mac and not on mac is that it comes with a play engine (Kompakt) that does not supoort intel-mac. In order to get it working you therefor have to purchase an other play engine, such as Kontakt 3. Is there likely to be any upgrades available within reasonable time to make this Kompakt compatible with intel-macs?

    Welcome =)

    The PLAY engine's from a different vendor; not NI. The Kompakt player of the previous version will never be UB, and E/W chose not to license the Kontakt 2 player (which is UB), and went to the PLAY engine instead.

    So, you'd have to ask E/W about when they'll make the PLAY engine version of the Kompakt libraries you're interested in- or, as Marius stated, get Kontakt 3 (which will play the Kompakt version's content).
