I've just bought the East West Silver Edition and can't get any of the sounds to appear in the sampler.

I can see the drop down list of instruments "violins, cellos, percussion etc" but when I click them they dont actually load into the sampler. it just carries on displaying new multi with no samples loaded.

it seems to be set to the right folder, pointing at my external drive where i installed the sound library, but none of the sounds actually load into the sampler.

i have this problem on both the standalone, and also when loaded as a vsti within cubase.

    any ideas on what's up?
    thanks in advance.

I would first look to see where the samples are located and then see if that is where EWQO is looking. I remember with Gold I loaded the samples separately and had to point the program to the samples.

no, ive checked this a million times. the program points at my library folder. with the two big nki files in.

then the instruments folder and multi folder are inside that folder.

Did you ever get this issue resolved?

I have Gold, not Silver, but I checked the files and it appears that the samples are not situated into the nki files. They seem to be contained in nks files. I noted that these are placed in the folder that the Instruments" folder is in.

nope, i've given up. i'm gonna take it back to where i bought it when i have a moment. i have a years shop warranty.

but if you can resolve it for me, it would save me a lot of hassle.
