Educational Maschine right for me?

    I am currently a student so I realize that with my I.D. number I can get a discounted Maschine.

    I have no interest; however, in buying this if it is limited in any way whatsoever.

    I am not sure if it is limited though.

    As far as I know, the regular retail MASCHINE and the EDU version are exactly the same (software and hardware wise). The only limitation being:

    1) Only 1 "activable" installation.
    2) You cannot re-sell/transfer your licence to somebody else.

    Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

    PS: Yes, it is perfectly legal to buy one off eBay.

    With most software providers, educational versions cannot be used for commercial works. Its basically for hobby and educational purposes. If you were going to submit a song for publishing profits, you would need to upgrade to a standard/commercial license.
