Recently the second effect in my (chained) left FX panel always turns on when starting Traktor.

Is this a feature I have accidentally activated?

    start traktor
    de-activate the effect
click on the snapshot button (camera icon next to the fx panel)
    restart traktor
    VOILÁ!

Don't take this the wrong way (it is not meant very seriously), but ... there is a thing called "user's manual" ;)

Ah, that's what the user manual is for !

Yeah, the manual. I was never curious enough about the button to go and find out, I'm usually too busy trying to work out how to do something else (at the moment, beatgridding tricky tracks).

It's a funny phenomenon this "read the manual" or "search the forum first", which usually, people often have done, unsucessfully. I'm on numerous forums and even moderate two and my perspective is this: if you think someone's question is dumb or they're just being lazy, then why not just let it be? It can take hours of research and experimentation to find out something which someone else with experience could tell you in a minute. No-one is obliged to reply, are they?

Somehow many folk behave quite differently on forums than they do face to face. If someone asks them in person something they know off-hand, then they would rarely say "Go and google it/read the manual/don't be so lazy" but on a forum, the same folk would be irritated.

I didn't take what you said in the wrong way, but as you raised the point and I've seen much worse on this forum and others, I thought I'd put in my penny's worth anyhow.
