Effect lag issue

    Hey,

    Just wanted to ask if anyone else had suffered a lag when pressing one or both of the FX buttons on their X1, and if anyone knew how to solve it?

    Whenever I have the effect already turned 'on' and trigger one of the FX buttons to commence the effect on one of the decks, there is a half-second moment of silence before the audio comes back in and is effected.

    At the moment I'm using Traktor internally to play around with the X1 and cue up some mixes on the move, so just the MacBook with the X1 plugged into the USB, and I'm hoping it's just a soundcard issue? All of the buttons on the X1 trigger their respective action instantly, but it's the source of this worrying moment of silence that's confusing me.

    The MacBook is less than six months old and the X1 is brand new.

    Oh and I'm also having the 'serial number not recognised' issue when trying to register it...
