    I gotta admit, I'm pretty confused about which of NI's guitar offerings to pick up. There's Electric Sunburst, Electric Sunburst Deluxe, Electric Vintage...

    I realize there's a tone difference between Sunburst and Vintage, but what else? Electric Vintage being the newest offering, does it have everything that Electric Sunburst Deluxe has, or is it more in line with Electric Sunburst's basic package and they'll they likely release a Vintage Deluxe package in the future? Just what is the difference between Sunburst and Sunburst Deluxe, anyway?

    So many questions. :/

    El. Vintage has all El. Sunburst DLX has feature-wise, AFAIK.

    Thank you for the reply.
    I actually slightly prefer the tone of Electric Starburst, but the Deluxe version is an extra $50. So if Vintage does indeed have all the bells and whistles of Starburst Deluxe, I’ll probably go for the Vintage.
    Thanks for your input.

    I have the Sunburst Deluxe and think I am also going to buy the Vintage Electric. The interfaces are really almost identical and they do the same things, except the Vintage Electric has a couple new features the Sunburst Deluxe doesnt have,...I hope they upgrade the Sunburst Deluxe to keep up and evolve both of these instruments w. updates.

    I would suggest you buy whichever one you like the sound of best. The Sunburst Deluxe is a LesPaul humbucker guitar sound and the Vintage Electric is Fender single coil telecaster sounds. The regular Electric Sunburst doesnt have a 'solo' mode...It just does patterns and licks and stuff

    Thanks, Mojo. That's exactly the kind of input I was looking for.
    I actually prefer the sound of the Sunburst, but I don't want to pay an extra $50 for the Deluxe just to get the solo mode, not to mention the other updates that Vintage Electric has that you hinted at. So I'll likely spring for the Vintage. But I'm bummed cuz I got all these Sweetwater gift certificates for my birthday, and Sweetwater only carries the Sunburst, not the Vintage. Man, why can't it just be easy? :}

    aye this is easy peasy right? get the Electric Vintage and something else from Sweetwater. a win win scenario. Native Instruments is having their annual summer sale, but I doubt the Electric Vintage is included? I have a $25 e-voucher I could apply to the $99 Vintage Electric and thats a great value I think...thats what I;m going to do.

    I scurried on over to the NI website to check, but yeah, you're right. Electric Vintage is not on sale. :(

    Lucky. Wish I had an e-voucher. It's like Christmas in June. Go spend that thing and have a blast! :D

    Is there a difference in the strumming patterns between the two guitars?

    HI, I upgraded to the Starburst Deluxe. Does the Deluxe contain all the elements of the original starburst guitar and if so should I delete it or is it still needed? Thanks

    It contains everything. You should retain the base version if you used it in some DAW projects already.
