i dont think its the worst kit theyve done far from it..the kicks are brilliant and really cut threw a track..

one thing i dont really like are the chopped up synth loops so what ive done is edit them down too just key notes that way there playable and im not using someelses idea.

and the massive presets are ok ,they wont set the world on fire but there still useable .

but it all depends on your style of music and what you want to do.ive got all the expansions now expect for conant and for my personal tastes i find ive hardly used raw expansion and find i use dark pressure, drop squad the most.but that goes of the style of music your doing and also wether your willing too tweak the kits to your own tastes.

itd be nice to see if native instruments would convert some of there older more obscure kore expansions for maschine..i still want the paranormal/true strike /india expansions and know lots of other people feel the same and if they priced them correctlly theyd be a big seller and would be great to use in maschine.

they arnt electro based though as someone said before...

this is like commercial dubstep sounding electro... its very different from the more house type electro... you could make the same tracks using already standard maschine library with added distrotion or with the dubstep maschine pack they have (i cant remember the name)

that would be really good if they could do that...

also some oldskool sounding packs would be good, its all too clean and modern...
    too polished and coated...

yeh india or eastern type sound pack would be brilliant,,, so would a more percussion based one... some tropical. something chill beat, its all too much the same really...

sorry to seem so cut up im not im just expressing how i feel

How can anybody say that any of the sound pack extensions are bad?
They just don't fit your style...

I personally would like to see an Orchestral percussion pack with treated/processed percs, rolls, gongs etc...something like Cage's piano but for percussions
NI would probably go bankrupt with sales lol

I listen to all genres of music, so I am not bias to one genre... I know what sounds good and what doesnt

that would be a great idea... I would buy that in an instant... NI would not go bankrupt at all over an idea like that...

    cages piano?

i just thought id do a quick track showcasing a few of the sounds from electric vice i also added a few perc sounds from drop squad but 90% of its from electric vice only.

i did a track thats not really electro more of a deep house/electro/funked up track lol ..not sure what genre youd call it lol..

    https://soundcloud.com/#dj-waxxy/ev12

i only spent half an hour on it just to show people its not only for electro but other styles

sorry the vox sample was hammered lots in this track it was just a quick demo.

yep the drums are xcite kit from electric vice and two percussion sounds (shaker, hiat open) from drop squad.
the bass synth, other synths are all from electric vice they were loops which i edited down to notes i then added reverb from maschine and tweaked them a little with the maschine filter.
the vocal is a accappella i use alot on rough ideas but never use it on finished tracks.
i also didnt arrange it i just had a spare few minutes while i was waiting in for the plumber to fix my leaky boiler i saw the comments saying it wasnt much good and thought well its not that bad ill do a quick loop and put it up on soundcloud lol

the plumber came just as i finished and uploaded it while he was checking my boiler..the problem was a stuck ballcock it only took him 10 mins to fix and didnt charge me because hes a mate of my dads ..result ;) lol

i really like the kits on electric vice the kicks, snares are really good and need no tweaking the only thing i do think let it down slightly is the percussion.there either very top heavy so they need a bit of eq to tame them or they simply just fit as well as other expansion packs.
also the instrument sounds are very in your face and those too need a little tweaking or they stand out too much and take over the mix.

too date my favourite expansion has got too be drop squad and dark pressure.
both of those contain the right ballance of upto date sounds that sit well in a mix with little too no tweaking and the instrument sets are excellent too and the massive presets contained in drop squad are superb much better than electric vices.
in electro you need to use the mob wheel on some sounds to give that build up tension but the presets given in electric vice dont take advantage of that feature which is a shame and ive tried 3 keyboards to check it wasnt a fault in my keyboards and in all trys the wheel did nothing to change the preset sounds..shame :(

thank fook it's sorted but it has taken the 300quid i had saved and was hoping to buy traktor hardware.....

No, when you've installed them they look just like the expansions, with tagged samples, sounds, groups, projects etc... the Goldbaby ones are always pretty good
