Entering Numerical Values

NI, I would like to be able to double click on a numerical parameter and enter a new value via my computer keyboard, please! I can't believe that something so simple isn't possible in Battery, I'm sure it was in older versions. Surely this a pretty standard feature amongst DAW's and software instruments. I spend far to much time fine tuning sliders, when I could just double click and enter the value I need.

 

YES Please! This is something I've wanted in Battery/Kontakt for a long time. So much better than having to use two hands, hold shift, and slowly drag with the mouse hoping to land on the right value. If you're doing a lot of editing, it's really cumbersome to have to do that all of the time.

 

I just updated to current 3.1 version.

I don't understand -- the earlier versions of 3.0.xx allowed value entry, now it doesn't work for me either! This seems like a basic feature -- why did we lose it?

This works in Battery 3.2 which is in Public Beta. Backup your stuff, download the build and let us know if something doesn't work.

Good to hear the numeric value enter is fixed in upcoming release. However since kits saved in Beta isn't backwards compatible -- I'll have to wait to try as I'm busy setting up new kits in current version.
