Envelope Toolkit

So, I'm trying to make an envelope with the toolkit. I literally copied every single thing in the layout of the prebuilt factory envelope and I cannot get anything except for the first and last stage to work. It has constant sustain no matter what I put in the middle stage. I tried making sure things were put down and connected in the order I want them to go. I also tried using the index number to tell it to move to the next stage. Nothing works and the prebuilt one does.

I have no idea why nothing but attack and release will work. Is there some major thing that isn't obvious that I'm missing? This is really frustrating.

 

So, I figured out my problem. Apparently, I'm dumb. I had the gate coming in as audio for some reason and it needs an event. Well, in case someone else runs into the same problem, there it is.
