    Hello everybody,

The Elektrik Piano team is working on a hotfix patch for 1.5 that will correct the "booming notes" as well as some other inconsistencies in the sample mapping of the MK2 instrument. The patch should be ready for release in just a few days.

I will keep you updated on the progress.

    Regards, Thomas

Hi Thomas, i just noticed that there is also a problem on the Authentic MK2 Suitcase patch on the G#1 note. There is a weird pitchbend/detune/glide effect on this note which is very annoying, it happens when you hit the note with more than 100 velocity, it's very noticeable.

would be great if this could also be fixed in the hotfix, with this and the boomin notes fixed the MK2 patches will be fantastic

It's been a few days now. Any word on how soon we will have access to the proper, improved version of EP 2?

nailed down where the plok is comin from

as i said in another thread, i noticed there is an annoying (to me anyway) clicking/popping/plok-like sound in some of the Authentic patches (mk2_pure / mk2_phaser / maybe others) ... don't really know how to describe it exactly, have a listen to this sample, you'll hear clearly when it kicks in and when it dissapears.

the thing only occurs when you play several notes simultaneously between a velocity of around 30 to 85, under and above that its rarely there. It's especially noticeable when you quantize notes of a chord (1st 2 measures) but i find it most annyoing when playing chords live (towards the end). I hope it's not somehow an intentional part of the sound design, i really don't like it, hopefully it's a bug and can be fixed easily ... and be thrown into the hotfix :)

The "few days" has turned into about a month.

Can you please give us a realistic estimate of when the patch will be released?

    Thanks,

    Dave
