    hi all

    EP sound's powerfull and pure!!!!!

    congratulations NI!!!!!!

but i'm having some little probs with him,i'm running a 1Ghz G4 under 10.3.3 with 512MB of ram and EP takes several minutes loading the instruments from the library, other problem is about the memory,i've been tried EP in stand alone mode without other apps running on my G4 and EP don't stop warning me that i'm running low memory and i'm able to get some probs because of this.
There something wrong with my installation or EP needs a powerfull machine to run?i will try run EP under PT 6.4 LE and Cubase SX 1.0.6 and give some feedback to the forum later.

some help from native support would be nice

    thanks

    DFD and ECO presets

    Hello hugo0,
    thanks for your compliment!

Did you try out the DFD extension (Direct From Disk) available as a download on our website? Using DFD the instruments will load faster and using less RAM.
On this site there are also ECO presets available. These presets are medium and small versions of the presets delivered with the Elektrik Piano and are less demanding in RAM and CPU power.

Please download the DFD extension and the ECO presets from:
    http://www.nativeinstruments.de/index.php?epianoupdates_us

    best,
    Nils

Also, Hugo, how much RAM do you have in your machine? It shouldn't take several minutes to load an EP patch.

Without DFD enabled, some of the larger patches may take a while to load. DFD is the way to go.
