EQ when in external mode...

Do NI look at this or ever acknowledge.....

as someone said earlier with bad BPM readouts and no eq in external mode, I am still using the old version.....

 

Yes, they do respond.

I have received a message giving me a Ticket ID for a feature request I listed.

I imagine they discuss each item listed here at length to decide whether to action it. I imagine, they DON'T do that the very instant something is posted. I work in software projects - nothing happens fast, trust me.

 

Yeah too bad about this. I'm playing on a Rane 2016 with no eq unit in a few weeks and it would have been nice

Using the LowKill EQ while working external was and is an essential Feature i'd like to use with a Product that announces itself as "Pro" ;-)

You should see this stupid work around i have for getting Abletons eq's to be at 0db at the 12oclock position on the knob :\

 

If we had eq's in external mode, could we use the eq's for decks 3,4 (C,D)? Almost like a hybrid setup. Two external decks and two internal.

I support this request. Although i just hope a clutterd interface is not the result.

No Need For Explanations

 

EQ available plus external mixer

a quick fix is to set it to internal mode and run one deck all the way to one side of the crossfader, and the other deck to the headphone cue. On the audio output routing setup just place the master and monitor to diferent outs on your sound card. This way both decks respond to EQ and can be individualy controled in your external mixer. It only takes care of decks A and B but it should help most DJs since not everybody needs four decks running at once twicked to the max

Id suggest a 3rd option.
1. Internal Mixer Mode (as it is now) no confusion with that.
2. External Mixer Mode (as it is now) no confusion with that.
3. External Mixer Options Mode (as it was in Traktor 3 with EQ and channel faders included) .

If properly explained in the manual there is no reason for users not having the option they need or any confusion about 'Invisible interface elements".
