Error message on startup

    I get this same error too. i read somewhere that it is common with win xp. Does your traktor work ok? Mine does but i cant get my timecode vinyl to give a clean signal and was wondering if you have the same issue?

    dont use timecode, Traktor looks to be fine when i click on continue but i havent checked the PC in my rig yet for a length of time!

    should also add that after installing windows service pack 3, i reinstalled the Traktor software from scratch & also the service centre, on loading Traktor for the first time and everytime since it has given me this message, i also did the 1.2.6 upadte aswell

    anyone at tech support have any ideas on this problem?

    Not sure if it's the exact same error but I get something similar when I have my USB memory card reader connected to my XP machine. If I remove the USB device before starting Traktor there's no error.

    it's a common error if your motherboard has a floppy controller and no disk attached. Just disable the floppy from the Bios and the alarm should not occur again.

    lol, indeed i hadnt the answer handy, but it's a common issue, and there is already the answer out there - i was just too lazy to search it for you in the forum ;)

    anyways, tech support will not write here in the forum, since it's a user forum, fact.
