Error Position First Note Recording On Count In

Every time I do from a midi recording, without quantization,
the first note is almost always written at the end of the pattern, and not at its beginning.
No one else happens this?

 

Please enter a report on this, we have several reports on missed first notes and I sincerly beleive there is something wrong. But nothing we can reproduce here at NI. Any hints, projects, videos etc that could help us onwards here is much appreciated.

The quantize off, cont-in recording, and the placement of the notes at the end vs beginning are all variables to consider.

 

Thanks for the hints, what brought this to 100% reproduction is loading maschine in a host, drop the tempo to 60, disable grid and quantize and first and foremost using count in. I cant reproduce the problem without count in

Man, I've been trying to figure this out also, but haven't had the time to really find out if it was just me or not. Glad to see this is getting sorted and it's not just me.
