error when using "always on top" in cubase sx3

Hello, I've been having some problems with kontakt 1.5.3 and just recently discovered what the problem was.
When i tried to open up a sample in the external editor, cubase hung up when i got back, and the sample did not update.
This happened when i had kontakt's window set "always on top" i cuabse, in order to be able to place it in my secondary display.
I was just wondering if someone has had the same problem, ad if there is a way of getting past it (i mean besides unchecking "always on top" of course...).
I mean, I could extend my cubase workspace to the other monitor, but it the monitors are different in size and max resolution, so it wouldnt really work super well...
