i'm just curious - are all of these euclidean releases built on top of my euclidean display from earlier in this thread or something different?

 

I'm not sure... on my last release at the UL i added the accents and pitch features to the Benjamin Kilchofer version... but it is possible that the display he was using came from your development. If it came from your work, it wasn't credited properly. As it wasn't the euclidean algorithm implementation on any of the releases that followed this forum thread, which was the starting point for all the euclidean sequencers you find today in the UL.

it looks like kilchofer took it from a post on reaktortips, from a guy who claims he got it from the UL. maybe it's the one ben howard posted earlier in this thread, maybe not...

in fact, not being able to download the old attachments of the forum is a pitty.... that would help to make memory and recover old stuff...

 

yeah i had a lot of cool stuff that existed only as forum attachments. many i've been able to recover from folks who downloaded them though.

 

If your original had a yellow display then yeah, I built my first version based on that. I always thought I got it from the UL but could never find it.

hey there, benjamin kilchhofer here. i think i have to clarify some things, i discovered that my simple mod i did 2 years ago (from reaktortips.com by a user named "normalised") was used in a ni demonstration video and also used in a soundcloud track by ni and well, i only did a very simple mod of the original ensemble and do not take any credits for that, i credited the builder properly on the userlibrary page. well anyway, i am not a builder and i claim no credits for any development in this! thanks, cheers!
