Is there a list of all the plugins that work in x64 environment?

I'm finding it hard to decipher if they just run on the x64 OS or if they are actually 64bit plugins that can run in a 64bit host.

    Any help?

    ew?

so far I "think" battery, kontakt, fm8, massive, and absynth 5 will work as 64 bit plugins, not sure about kore, kore player, or maschine.

I tried the knowledge base but all I found was how to install the 32 bit plugins on a 64 bit OS.

    thanks!

Kore and Kore player are 32 bit only. However, there are 64 bit drivers for the Kore controller for Windows- the hardware needs them. Maschine's 32/64 bit on Windows; on a Mac there's no 64 bit drivers, but the app is both 32 and 64 bit.

    thanks bro, that helps.

I don't have the kore controller at this point so it's not an issue, but good to know. I thought Maschine was 64 but couldn't remember.

I'm on windows so the mac compatibility isn't an issue for me :)

Yes, the x64 GR version is true 64 bit.

As far as 64 bit drivers for Mac goes, SL was the first 64 bit OS from Apple. Give them time. The x64 drivers on the Windows side have been out for over a year.

What happens if you play an Absynth patch in Kore in Win 7 and open Absynth 5 from Kore?

Kore will use the 32 bit plugin version- there's both 32 and 64 bit Absynth .dlls.

Reaktor is still just 32 bit as well, isn't it? No difference, though. I have everything working fine on Win7 64 bit and Cubase 5 64 bit - even B4II and Pro-53.

ok maybe my questionis not wise :) but I feel like lost in those bloody (sorry) unnormal behaviour of installers etc

    Story:
I ve biught new PC as second for my studio
    it is dell 1558
    i 3 ddr3 1333 4Gb... win 7 64 bit
I ve installed NI Kom. 5
    on it
ok I set in installers which .dll files should be in 'Programm files"
and which should be in PF x 86
    as it should be
    but
why my Cubase takes kontakt, Massive as 32 bit app....?
may be I just do not understand something but where should be sample libr. of 64 bit VSTI ? x 86 or "normal " PF?
    I got every in x 86....
    is it normal?
where should be whole data files of 64 bit VSTI ?
    x 86 or PF?
    I got them in x 86
and I ve tried ti cut and paste them in PF - then Cubase has been asking me to re install them
    I am really getting stupid
how should I ise NI vsti in win 7 64 bit withou troubles?
I ve started every vsti as stand alone and it worked
so is it matter of .dll files ...
so maybe someone could tell what is wrong and why it just does not work after install.... latest versions...
    thx for help

Did you set up a VSTplugin folder under Program Files? Does Cubase find it ok?

In my case the installer put everything in 2 places for both 32 and 64 bit plugins so it might be you only need to tell Cubase where they are.

Komplete 5 only installs the 32 bit versions of FM8, GR3, Kontakt and Massive. It's the latest updates of each that brings x64 to the table- update those apps.

    @ gravehill: THX for reaction
yes i got two vst plugins places
one in programm file ( for 64 bit NI app0 and second for 32... no overdubbing
I did update VST plugings in my Cubase so it can see them right
at least it shows that it see them :)
but Cubase recognize 64 bit vst as 32 bit
so as you may know vst bridge in cubase is.... at least not good

    so ma question is :
what should I do to make cubase ( 64 bit0 use 64 bit NI as 64 bit
and should sample libr. of Kontakt for example be placed in x 86 pace?
    ---
    @ EW
would you be so kind to tell me which steps ezactly should I do for solve this situation
    thx

I am sorry but I got all latest.......
    ---
and behaviour if NI 64 bit VSTI is unacceptable on me PC's
    1. Kontakt
I can choose any instrument and switch between them just after I add it in Cubase ( F11)
but it freeze after I use even play option_ I mean I can not just open Kontakt window and change instrument ( or add more in K 8 out , K 16 out) after playing or recording tracks
even if I export Kontakt track to audio
then mute it and remove Kontakt from project I can not re add it to praject again withaout restarting cubase.
    same with other VSTI

Contact support- they'd probably have a better idea of what's going on than I do.
