if i were you i would try and get your money back, as this thing
    sucks.

it looks cute but it is rubbish.

i used it briefly with a mac and it stopped working whenever i used a usb audio device.

then all of a sudden it stopped working altogether.

so my advice, get rid of it before it is to late

    best

If you do decide to keep using it,make sure you've got the latest drivers. They've had srerious problems with 2K/XP drivers with all their products. The latest ones are pretty stable from what I've heard.

I don't believe this is related to the Evolution driver at all. I'm pretty sure this is a Reaktor bug. If you disconnect the Evolution so that Reaktor doesn't even "see" the MIDI i/o for it and do the same action, Reaktor will still crash. The solution is to set the soft takeover switch on a per control basis.

Midiman - Oxygen8 Controller - same blue screen crash

I also agree that this is a Reaktor bug.

Currently using a MIDIMAN - Oxygen8 Midi Controller.

I too have attempted to set Reaktor to ALL SOFT TAKEOVER and had the same blue screen crash with my Win XP Pro system.

    ------

In addition, if I receive a crash unrelated to MIDI in Reaktor... (ie loading a dodgy ensemble, etc)... I'm almost guaranteed to receive a MIDI related blue screen crash the next time I load Reaktor.

The only solution I've found for this is to shut down my system completely and restart Reaktor... remove my MIDI device... reboot... restart Reaktor and insert my MIDI device again

I'm also using Kontakt and have had no MIDI problems whatsoever.
