Anyone notice CPU usage is way more than T3.4 with same latency, sound quality and settings?

Mine is past over halfway and that is without playing any song.

My system specs should be more than enough for TPro - will NI look into this?

I had the same problem with audio artifacts (clicks, pops) resulting. Try lowing the file cache (I lowered mine from 256 to 128) and the problem is gone.

Yeh - but its ridculous that T3.4 had the highest cache size and no problems with CPU usage but in TS its high.

I hope NI look into this.

Has Native Instruments looked into this problem yet? I'm running Windows Vista on a 2GB RAMmed PC with a Pentium D 3.4GHz processor and Traktor Scratch Pro seems to use up an average of 70% CPU processing power (as shown by Task Manager) although the display in Traktor Scratch Pro only shows something like 15 - 20% but I think Windows should know better. Also, the entire system seems pretty slow so I think Windows is reporting the true CPU usage.

I'm using similar settings that I've been using since Traktor Scratch. Key lock quality is set to Eco and Disk cache to 128MB only although I'm going to try with 32MB tonight. The layout is also pretty minimal since I like having as much of my songlist displayed as possible. No cover art, no scratch panels, no global section, no EQ or filters displayed or running.
