Expansion kit it bleeds into my track

Hi I'm a newbie can someone please help me every time I'm making a track and I load a expansion kit it bleeds into my track and when I press play I keep hearing the expansion kit play with the track I'm trying to make.

 

going to need way more info, like your DAW/Software, OS, Audio Interface...be as specific as possible and post screenshots if you can!

 

Yeah I'm using a maschine mk3

Like I said I'm using a maschine mk3 with navtive instruments expansions packs

With maschine 2 software

 

When you load an expansion it also loads MIDI/Pattern, so if you press play the Pattern will be played. Turn off +Patterns at the bottom of the browser if you dont want to load the Patterns/MIDI.

 

Hi I have turned off the pattern at the bottom and i still hear some of the the loaded expansion kit, sound ,etc, I think it might be something like a setting I need to turn on ?

 

Is there a pattern active? It's hard to understand whats going on over there since your description is very vague.
I'd follow Blindeddie advice and post a screenshot, it will avoid people trying to help asking 100 questions...

 

When I'm making a track and say I have a drum pattern I've made when I load a sound, instrument, expansion kit, etc,and I have the patten load turned off at the bottom of the browser and I press play to hear the drum pattern I've made I hear the sound of the what ever I have loaded, plus the sound of my drums I made changes to the sound of whatever I have loaded

 

Turn off prehear.

I've tried that doesn't work either

 

Turn off autoload.
If that also doesn't work then I have no further solution.
Has to do with the fact that it is not entirely clear to me what you are doing.

Which Expansion Kit is it?

 

It doesn't matter what expansion kit i load or instrument,sound,group,loop,one-shot they all do the same thing

As I have already stated, it is not clear what you are doing.
Could you tell us what you are doing step by step.
So that we can reproduce it and perhaps come to a solution for you.

Hello again guys right I first thought it was my maschine mk3 which had this problem so i disconnected it and I am now using just the maschine 2 software on my macbook pro with maschine 2 factory library,so I then put in a kick from maschine 2 library then lets say I am looking for a snare when I found one I like I loaded it and now the snare that I have just loaded has change the kick to sound like the snare ? Why is this happening, I then installed my native access on another computer and installed maschine 2 and maschine 2 library and it is do the same thing ?

 

Make sure that an empty sound slot is highlighted/selected before trying to load the snare. It appears you at loading the snare into the sound slot that has the kick loaded...

 

Yeah thanks blindeddie it works now but I wasn't doing this before do you know why it has changed and now I have to do this way ?
