Expansions and Other Daws

Anyone know if the expansions sound as good outside of Maschine? For instance.. Would the one-shots sound as good in say a drum rack in Ableton? Maschine processes the sounds and fx right?

Depends... The Maschine Groups/Kit have a ton of FX on them both at a sound level and group level, usually a ton of limiting/maximizing to make them sound "hard/loud", so if you're used to loading full kits things will sound "dry" in Ableton but that's fairly easy to fix by adding your own processing...

 

D-One tx for response I separately put in this ? and the team stuck it in maschine section. I have Kontact 6 as well as Logic and Other daw so thanks for this. I assume same thing w Battery, eg if you had it you would get the processed sounds?
