Just got the Pioneer DDJ-T1, and used the included installation CD.

It installs Traktor LE, which I already have and registered, and not the Pioneer Edition.
The controller does not work with the LE versions that I have (1 & 2) and I can't add any mappings to it.
I was really hoping to use the pioneer edition of the software which I can't get and now can't even use my DDj-T1. May I please get some help with this!

    Welcome To The Forum

You are probably still opening the same LE as before and not the DDJT2 edition.
Mac or PC? The start icons have probably not updated on the desktop/dock.

Look in the Native Instruments>Traktor folder for the latest start icon and use that. That should start the DDJT1 edition.

Have you activated the DDJT1 edition? Is it in your service centre. If so make sure you have entered the serial number that came with the DDJT1 DVD.

Yes,the same le version opens. I'm using a mac.

I've looked in the folder, and there's only one start icon there. I open traktor, and it opens with the same serial number that it had before, so it assumes that it's already activated.

The DDJT1 edition does not appear in my service centre.

    Okay,I've sorted out the problem!

For those of you that are having a similar problem (traktor pro users may have this problem too), Open up Traktor, Click the help section and select "Upgrade". This will open up the service center and all you have to do is type up the serial number. Hope that helps!
