Expert?

Hi there,

Is there a guide to which settings to use in expert mode in Kontakt 2?

My cpu hi is about 50% but sometimes when a note is triggered in Kontakt, it jumps right up to almost 90%!

I use a Dual 2 Ghz mac with not much else going on so far. Just wundered if there was something I could alter in order to decrease the cpu drain?

i had the same problems so i contacted tech support and these are the settings they gave me to use to improve performance:memory dedicated to dfd 60.00mb,channel buffer size 384.00kb,researved channel buffer setting is 400-500 (i use 450),they also gave me some settings to use in my host programme which i was using anyway,they do make a difference but not that much of a difference.
i just find anything with a convolution reverb on it really badly drains my cpu but i dont really use the instruments that come with kontakt i just use it for mashing up breaks and sound design witch i can tell ya has made me fall in love with the programme and using it the way i do it dosnt hog my cpu well it hasnt yet.
