I am currently using Maschine 2.13.0 on macOS. To the best of my knowledge, at the moment exporting audio completely ignores live sources, e.g. an external MIDI keyboard used as an input to any of the groups. The only way to export a song then becomes sampling each external source first.

This is extremely cumbersome if compared to other DAWs. E.g. in Bitwig Studio, I can export the Master track whatever other track goes into it, live audio, AU/VSTs, samples etc.

In addition, Bitwig also gives the user the option to export in "real-time", to preserve the characteristics of the external instrument that depend on timing, say analogue reverb or delay. Maschine instead exports as fast as the CPU allows, ignoring completely the problem.

    Thanks,

    G.

I would like this option as well.

The workaround is to create another group, set a sound to resample the master output, turn off loop and hit play. Same result, but I'd much rather have it done from the export menu.

A better workaround I found thanks to the help of other users is to use Melda Production's free MRecorded plugin in the "Master", quite straightforward, it demonstrates in a way how silly it is that Maschine 2 can't do that on its own.
