    Hi there,

I want to open an Ableton project on a different computer and my Massive plugins use program lists so that I can easily switch presets as needed in several live situations (using pc messages)
Problem: My program lists are using user presets. So on another system these lists don't work. Would I also have to import all the individual presets, and if so to which folder/bank?

    Best,
    Laurentius

    Hi,

I believe the Program list contains links to the actual preset just like a chosen favorite. It's not the actual preset.
Massive have it's preset's outside the application.
That mean you have to have the preset's you need on the computer where you need them. So yes you have to copy the needed presets to your second computer, Just copy the user folder you have on your first machine and put them at the similar location on your second computer.would do that.
I would say you need to be sure that the path to the preset's you have selected for your programlist are the same.
If you don't use factory presets but only user presets that you have in the same NI Massive folder as you programlists, then perhaps it does'nt matter. But i don't know as i don't know if the link files uses relative or absolute paths to find the actual presets.
Using the same paths for everything that mean a similar Massive install and preset locations on both computers should work no matter what, i would say. And it's easy to do. That would be my solution.

Perhaps someone else know about all this for sure.
