Exporting Midi Data To Live

Okay, so I program this beat on Maschine. I know I can drag and drop audio, but I dont want WAV, I need MIDI Data. I downloaded the new update and it seems...that this feature is still not possible, is this correct? If not...can I record in real time via midi my drum pattern into Live? I search the board and everywhere I look..it seems like this question has never thoroughly been answered unless I just havent seen the thread yet, any help would be more than appreciated, thanks!
