I was wondering if there is anyway of exporting a mix from Traktor for iPad without using dropbox. I just purchased the app and do not have the Traktor 2.6.1 update on my computer. Can I get my mix into itunes, or is it just stuck on the app?

    Thanks.

if you open up itunes, click on the apps tab under your ipad and then scroll down to the file sharing section. Here you can find Traktor DJ in the list and once you click on it you will see your recordings in the Documents window to the right. From here you can save the file to your computer.

Tell me guys, did those two buttons at the lower right actually work? For me,they were displaying a folder rather than the actual mix file that I was attempting to put on my PC.......I dragged and dropped the file, and was able to get it that way

Yeah, they don't work for me either. They give me random errors... Like yourself, a drag and drop of the tile to a folder copied it over for me.

Just drag and drop the mix onto your desktop.

I see this thread is a little older, but thought I would reply since it helped me figure out my own problem exporting a mix to my desktop computer. I got an error message that seemed to be saying something about the file naming. The name of the saved wav file from TraktorDJ has characters in it that may get in the way of saving it. Try changing the name of the file if you get an error message from Windows. The default file name has colons in it, which might be the problem. Click on the file within iTunes and change the name to something that does not have periods, colons, etc. That's what worked for me. ;)

djbower brings up a great point - just saved me continued frustration!

Downloading exported mixes from itunes - on a Windows PC:

In ITUNES before Downloading, You must RENAME to get rid of Colons and/or Periods. Otherwise, files will show up in the download location showing 0 byte file size.

    Traktor DJ 1.4.0.486
    Windows 7 64bit
    ITunes 11.3.0.54

Yea I had a bit of a mess on when I first wanted to export a mix I had done in a club. I think there should be a export to... Button like export to soundcloud YouTube etc instead of having to export to PC then to wherever

Djxtra - uploading music file is impossible on YouTube. It must be a movie format, not music.

Hi! thanks for the help. I've followed ALL the above steps changing name etc. but it still will not play via iTunes!

I can play it in windows media player and VLC, but I cant drag and drop from my desktop onto iTunes or right click and open it there. Any other suggestions?

This seems a really long winded approached and could be solved on the next upgrade pretty simply for people who want to share there mixes!

    Thanks , Jack

NI will not implement a button to upload mixes from Traktor DJ to soundcloud or YouTube because it it not legal.
