Exporting music from Traktor

Hey!

I know that when you export some music from Traktor into a new computer, you can also export your settings, such as cue points, beat grids, etc.

The problem is this:
- I was using an old Macbook Pro. When i load tracks into the deck i wanted to play them, Traktor was freezing. It was just one second, the music did not stop, but the screen did it.
- So i decided to buy a New Macbook Pro, because of this issue.
- I´ve copied all my music (I have it on iTunes) and export it into my New Macbook Pro.
- I´ve download Traktor on my New Macbook, started using it, and when i load tracks into the decks, all my settings (beat grids, hot cues, cue points) were saved. And i haven´t copied any Traktor folder from my Old Macbook Pro... I have just copied all my music from itunes.
- And that´s not all, TRAKTOR CONTINUES FREEZING WHEN I LOAD TRACKS!


Please, someone help me.
Maybe those settings, such as cue points and all that, are making Traktor run slow and because of that it is freezing when i load a track on a deck.
I don´t know...

 

This happens to most people. As long as the music does not stop it is not an issue.

 

so what's the main reason why traktor is doing this freezing thing?
is it the video card? the hard drive (specially one's with head parking)? i ask about this before, yes they right! just learn to ignore it, but what's the reason with this freeze? just want to ask for the last time. many thanks.

 

Same. Many people say "It´s normal, don´t worry", but there´s a lot of people that use Traktor and the screen doesnt freeze while they are using it, so why does this happens to me? It might be the settings of the track? I don´t know.

I don´t know also why, if i haven´t copied any Traktor settings of my old computer, when i load the same tracks on my new computer it saves all the hot cues and loop points..... Anybody?

 

The info is stored in the actual tracks.

 

And what makes my Traktor freeze?

 

No. There must be another issue with your setup. Have you followed all the tuning tips?

Yes. I have followed them.

 

cues and loops are stored in the files themselves so they will be available no matter what computer you use
