External 5.1 soundcard

    Hi guys,

    I've a problem with setting up Traktor Scratch Pro on my laptop with my external 5.1 soundcard. On my desktop there doesn't seem to be a problem.

    The soundcard works, it plays sound in windows.

    When i choose the card in Traktor as device, the song freezes ans i can't do nothing with that deck. I can load another song to it but play and all the other cmds don't work. When i choose the internal card as device, it starts playing.

    Some1 got a solution? :(

    if you own Traktor Scratch Pro, why don't you use the Audio 8 Dj provided with it?

    Got the software from someone but not the hardware that goes with it :(

    Musn't be a problem, it IS working on my desktop but everything freezes on the laptop....

    What is the soundcard and have you got ASIO drivers?

    You won't be able to set up the scratch part of Traktor Scratch Pro without an audio4/8 or Traktor certified mixer, perhaps the 'someone' may be persuaded to give it up?
