Extra HDD crashes Traktor 2,5

Hi There !

I´ve just installed a new xtra harddrive in my computer besides the systemdisc .

NEW HDD:
Seagate 160MB/7200rpm/8MB cache

COMPUTER:
P4 2,4GHz
768MB RAM

Transferred my mp3-collection to the new drive, indexed it with Traktor.
Then, when playing a session with Traktor and at the same time browsing my collection it hangs?
Could this depend on the signals taking to long time from the new drive tio the old?
If so, is the collection optional to keep on the same drive as the program?

is ist an external hdd? i'm using an external maxtor (250 gb) and do not have any problems with traktor 2.5....

 

No its an internal, I should understand if it was as yours, an external. Could it be wrong configurated?

 

i'm sorry, that's outta my knowledge...

with my desktop pc i had problems recognizing my new internal hdd i put in and after a few days it just found it by magig although i didn't do NOTHING new...

all i can say is that it's NOT optional to have the collection and the program on one hdd.

try to PM hobbes or nem0nic - they are more advanced in these things!
