F1 not working

    So I plug it in my 09 macbook pro. It lights up, and that's it. This happens with x1, and s4 as well.
    If its the usb is there a way to bring more power to the usb?

    Traktor doesn't recognize it as well.

    I tried different usb cable, and I don't know anyone else with a mac and traktor so I didn't try that.

    Update.

    I downloaded traktor on friends mac. S4 still didn't work. Has a flashing usb sigh in the middle.
    I plugged in my f1 and worked.

    I'm running yosemite, and he is running high sierra.
