F1 numeric display as a beat counter

    Hi, is it possible to map F1 display so it can work as a visual metronome in Traktor in Midi/User mode? Like 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc etc... I know I can do it with a LED button to light up on a beat, but I am wondering if the little numeric display is also map-able

    it can be mappable, in midi at least(don't remember in user mode), however it will read midi values but in your case that's of no issue as you'd use round numbers.
    Yes you need to use the beat-phase monitor to count - which has it's issues like no sound, no beat-phase, it's only a workaround to make a led to blink. You'll also need something like loopbe1 so Traktor can read its own messages. And finally you'll need a modifier that increases itself by one for each beat phase and reset himself to 1 once it reaches 4.
