    Hello everyone,

I have Traktor 2.5 setup with My S4 and F1 however for some strange reason the F1 always wants to be master, i can click on it 500 times but whatever I do i cannot make the decks master when i load a sample in one of the remix decks.

Does anyone have any idea how i can always keep Decks A and B master over the F1?

    Thank you,
    Michiel

It seems like Traktor only allows a track to be master if it is playing, and technically the remix decks continue playing once they are started (the "play" botton remains illuminated on screen). If you stop the remix deck and play a track deck, you can then make that the master, right? I'll check when I get home.

about the masters i have map 2 buttons -> one to set the master to deck A (for example the button ''A''), and the second to master to deck B (button like ''B'').
So my probl. is when i play deck A and the deck B is stopped, i push the button "B" (to set the master at deck B) but its doenst changed.
It changed only when the deck ''B'' is playing.
How can i solve this problem ? what i miss ?

Again, I don't think you can make a stopped deck the master track. What exactly are you trying to do that you can't?

Currently a deck cannot be master unless the deck is playing and the fader is up for that deck. This will change in the new 2.6 version of the software. Basically there will be options for how it behaves. A deck will still have to be playing for it to be master though, but you will be able to prevent the remix decks from becoming master.

I have the same problem, this was really helpful guys cheers!

Only difference - I use a S2 with an F1 on the side as deck C so unfortunately for me i do not physically have a pitch fader for the F1, so i have to manually change it for the F1 on my laptop when playing!

My question is: Until the new software update release; If whilst the F1 is playing as the Master Sync in deck C - i then start a track playing on a track deck A or B, i assume i can just change the track deck to be the master sync on my laptop after it is playing, then i can control the F1 pitch & track deck pitch which will be the same?

Sorry to be a pain! ;)
