F1- Step Sequencer does not start playing

hope u guys are all good and roy for some nice christmas days!

so here is my problem:

i've loaded the Step Sequencer TSI File on my Remix Deck D, i've loaded the Techno & House Percussions onto the deck, i can now play the one shots with pressing the knows in the the one shot mode ( seems to be the regular Remix Deck mode). When i press Shift + Browse i can enter the Step Sequencer mode and the pads on the F1 change to blue. But from here on, nothing happens. I can't play anything and the rotary knob doesn't effect a pattern change... when pressing Browse my Layout changes in the same way it would do with pressing space on the keyboard.
Anyone has a clue ?

Not sure I would check the steps from NI for setting up again. https://support.native-instruments....equencer-with-a-TRAKTOR-KONTROL-F1-Controller
Check your F1 preferences tab make sure that User Map is selected in options.
