Ok, just read all this. I also have a djm-t1 and would also like to get an F1 to control the Remix decks. I am wondering if you could do the following:

    - map deck a and c to the same output so that you can monitor deck c when playng deck b (i.e. crossfade to the right)
    - once you have checked deck c is correctly synced to deck b, push the sample over to deck d which is routed to the same output as deck b but has its volume fader turned down on the F1
    - bring the volume fader up for deck d so that the sample mixes with whats playing on deck b

    What do you think?

As far as i can see, as long as the volume faders for deck a and c (or deck b and d) work independently then this should work? Obviously you would be controlling deck a volume on DJM-T1 channel fader and deck c volume on F1 channel faders

without having the djmt1 myself... i'd say yes, this way it would work.

    My solution

    Hey,

I know this is a pretty old thread, but it might be useful for future reference.

I managed to get around the issues with using an F1 in a three deck config with the Pioneer T1 mixer by setting the mixer into internal mode, and remapping some of the controls as follows:

The crossfader on the T1 was mapped to the upfader of deck C (which is the remix deck)
Shift + Cue deck A on the T1 (which is currently set to Tap BPM but not really very useful to me so I deleted it) was mapped to toggle cue for deck C on and off.

    Works great...
