    Hi Folks.

I got a probably easy, but not obvious question (to me anyway).

If i have a fader with min max 0,1 and a numeric readout with min max 0,1 and i simply connect them (fader out seems to be event, and numeric readout seems to be audio), it should print the faders value into the numeric readout should'nt it ? Because when i do that it actuallay does nothing.
P.s I know of course that i could have the same by simply flagging "show label" in the Faders View Options.

Thx for answers and explanations in advance.

Try setting the numeric readout to 'always on'.

    thx for the quick reply.
Curiously, does'nt the readout loose its purpose entirely when it is'nt flagged to be always active ? I mean what would an example where you'd need it to be off ?

    with regards Robert

If it's hidden in a stack macro.

If it isn't 'always on' and it is hidden, like say only in a B view, then the circuits that drive it may also be off and a little CPU is saved.
