a few weeks ago, i uninstalled my Kore 2 software (and sold it), but i still have my Kore 2 hardware. yesterday, i tried get the hardware going with the Controller Editor on my system, but there was no interaction between the hardware & Massive. when i tried to reinstall the Kore 2 driver, i would get a message saying that i first needed to uninstall the older version on my system. turns out, there was no older version there for me to uninstall, but i would keep getting that message with every installation attempt. i used regedit. i used my registry cleaner. i went through my entire C drive for any & every little thing that had Kore2 in its name & deleted it, but no matter. the Kore 2 driver installation software still thinks that i have a previous version of the software on my system somewhere that i need to uninstall first before i can install the driver. has anyone ever run into this problem? any ideas for a fix?
    thanks!

i have not yet had a chance to try it, but i have thought about it. i am worried that since i have deleted every single trace of Kore on my computer that this may not work for me. also, i am not quite clear on what to try. am i to extract the new driver download to %temp% ?

Open explorer @%temp, delete everything, don't close the explorer window
    launch the driver installer.
When the first window appears, look at the extracted files in %temp%, copy the files to a folder @ your desktop.
    Quit the installer.
    Plug your Kore Controller in.
Head over to device manager, locate the Kore Comtroller, driver update, search on computer, lose folder @desktop

i did not have success with this method, but maybe i wasn't doing it right. i typed %temp% & got there to delete all the files. then i launched the installer & took the files that appeared in the %temp% folder & copied & placed them in a new folder on my desktop. then i quit the installer & and plugged my Kore Controller in. then i went to Device Manager, located the Kore Controller & did Driver Update, Search on Computer. [here is where i would get errors, depending on where i told the computer to search]. if i told the computer to search in the newly-created desktop folder, it said the driver was there, but it could not complete the process for some reason. if i told the computer to search in the %temp% folder, it would say there was no driver there.

I did exactly that, with the exception of just copying the .inf .sys and .cat file out to the desktop folder. Maybe give this a try? Sorry, worked for me.
Maybe try this in advance: locate the Kore Controller in device manager, properties, uninstall first...

When you quit the driver installer, the %temp% files get deleted, this is why you have to copy the extracted files anywhere else before quitting the installer...
