    hi -

I was considering to use traktor for recording a "mix-cd". it's possible of course to just punch "record" then do a mix and finished.

I'd like to use it more like e.g. Cubase, however. So I'd like to just work on transitions and effects, don't want to "have to" listen through whole songs first.

Is this possible? I can't find out how to start a recording and then fast forward to the end of the first track. :wallbash:

    Thanks for input, cheers, h00la

No, Traktor is an application for live usage. For arranged mixes I would suggest you to use SONY Acid Pro or MixMeister.

Of course I know what Traktor is mainly intended for. But if you know your ways with Traktor, it would be the perfect application to create a mix-cd, if only one could fast-forward in a recording before it was done! And it would be very easy to implement, no logical problems with this function...

Thanks for the hints to acid and mixmeister, I'll have a look at them. A friend, who is doing this professionally, suggested Nuendo, but that may be a bit pricey and overloaded...

    cheers, h00la
