Fastest way to create event at 127 for full length of pattern?

I use maschine to record guitar tracks all the time - building a song up almost like a looper. After recording each sample ("track"), I then go to step edit, tap in an event and then scroll the length knob until the event matches the length of the pattern. Sometimes, when I tap a note in it might not be at 127 (so have to twirl that knob too). Does anyone know of a better way to do this??? If the pattern is 8/16 bars long, it's a lot of knob twirling to extend the note out. I just want a button that pops in an event that is full volume (127) for the full length of the current pattern. That would allow me to hit one button, insert my "track" and move on to the next one.
Guessing there are others that use maschine in a similar fashion - have you figured out a better practice to insert a event?

    Thanks!

set your grid to 1 bar or however long you need (you can visually see this change in step mode, as the grid will change from multiple smaller blocks into bigger longer ones), and set your step mode velocity to 127. Your grid setting will put whatever midi note/step note you put in to match the full length of it, and setting your velocity to 127 will make every note pressed set to 127.

The manual will also explain how to do this, and has visual references to help you locate the options.

I am looking at the manual (and trying it in Maschine) and it appears that maximum size you can set the step grid to is 1bar?
