Hi Folks- I'm looking to expand my library of bass sounds for tv/film composing. Any recommendations for a great collection that will work nicely in kontakt? Thanks for any replies.

My favourites are Scarbee J fingered & Slap and Chris Hein Bass libraries.

Chris Hein Bass, Scarbee Black Bass (amped), and hopefully the 'soon to be released' Trilian from Spectrasonics.

Nothing, absolutely nothing is as good as Trilogy.

Trilogy is a great library, yes, but it is several years old and light years behind in terms of realism and modern features. I'm sure Trillian will update Trilogy significantly. No diss to you, Heck, who likes Trilogy so much, but the other libraries offer a LOT of stuff that Trilogy does not.

I've personally never heard another better sounding library precisely in terms of realism. Features maybe but I would rather have a good sounding library then a bunch of extras. Sound is everything in the end. But I'm curious as to which libraries your talking about?
