FEAR FACTORY tones...I NEED THEM

Can any one help with getting those really razor sharp tones I feel like no matter how much treble I put into it with various eqs including abletons. I still don't get the edge brittle razor sharp tone. im using a schecter omen 6. and an audio 6

 

Try different Fear Factory presets you find on Google, some may work better than others for the tone you're seeking

 

What amps are you using? IIRC everything up to obsolete was JCM 800, after that it was Line 6. Try an 800 with a Skreamer or the Distortion in front.

Did some research, he used a 800 modded with a mesa cab so here is my take on it.

I am using the whammy pedal to pitch shift down to his tuning so it sounds really flubby on my end I am also using a JB and a Custom Custom which are passive if you have active pickups like blackouts or EMGs then this should get you into the ball park.
