    Hi gang!

I searched for a generic feature request forum, didn't find one (but can't rule out overlooking it) and thus I ended up here. Hope I didn't mess up.

Suggestion: Treat players & full versions as separate entities within Komplete Access.

Situation: I'm on the road a lot, I miss my home studio and to compensate for that I decided to get myself a Maschine Mikro (not an issue anymore now that I became a lot more familiar with the Maschine software) and I'm using this with my laptop. Having previously bought Absynth 5 separately (and now owning a Komplete 12 license) I'm well within my rights to use that on my laptop as well.

Now, I'm the nutjob who prefers legit software (but I also don't necessarily condemn pirating by definition, but let's not go there) and to that end I want my laptop to remain 'clean'. As such I applied for a Komplete 12 Start license so that I could use some basic elements to expand on my Maschine setup just a little bit.

The issue: Although I own Komplete 12 collectors I still managed to add a start license to my profile, so far so good. And it worked: I now have legit access to some selection libraries (owning Maschine does not entitle access to the Maschine factory selection, even though the 'factory library' works like a charm!). But although I can install the "Kontakt factory selection" I cannot get the Kontakt player. I'm well aware that this is a pretty minor issue, but it still seems a bit off to grab a full version simply because I can't install a free player.

    As such this request

    Thanks for reading!

Kontakt full and Kontakt player have the same name in your directory: Kontakt.

Somewhere in the forum I read you can install one NI licence on 3 locations but use one at a time.
One in your studio - one on the road and one at home?

I recall having read the same in the license policies, but just to avoid possible issues I prefer sticking with licensed material. See, right now I only use my laptop while I'm out on the road, but once everything settles again I'll be using it mostly from home once more. And I don't want to risk me working on my audio setup while my gf plays with my laptop and starts a second instance of some programs as well.

But for now this is exactly what I did: I simply installed Kontakt with the factory selection library and that works well enough. I actually prefer not having too much of Komplete available because if there's one thing I've learned it's that there's a lot more to Maschine than it seems at first glance. The drum synths for example are actually pretty good! Same applies to some of the native sound effects.
