Feature Request : Add To Prep List In Track Browse Mode..... Please NI.

 

Which controller do you use? This is easily mappable and very convenient to have. You could even map it to a key on your keyboard if it's not already (I've never used the default keyboard mapping).

Edit: Didn't realize I was in the D2 subforum.. As I mentioned though, keyboard would be a good place to insert this command.

 

Hi Frankie, I have it on my Macbook Pro keyboard but like the CDJ2000 Nexus when in browse mode tag track adds it to a playlist for later...... I had this mapped on my X1 MkII and I miss it....... Trying not to to touch the computer, I thought that was the point of the D2/S8....... Thanks for your help......

 

Oh, I see. Yeah, it's really a shame that the D2 and S8/S5 are so locked down. I was seconds away from ordering a couple D2s with the recent sale but kept holding back for some reason. I decided to go with X1 MK2s instead and I think I made the right move. I don't think I would have been happy with the stock layout on the D2.

 

The X1MK2 is fantastic........ am still using it and the F1 with the Tekken FX's mapping for my gigs. The D2's still on trial at home..... Enjoy the MK2's.

 

No need to request this feature.. Its already there.
You may already add tracks you browse on the D2 directly to the preplist with the D2 default mapping very nicely.

 

Can you tell me how?

Hi djtoxictwo, When in browse mode press the two middle buttons on the right side of the screen. Top one of the two adds to prep list & bottom one takes you to the prep list..........Good Luck.
