Feature request: Unlock basic functionality on the remix decks for your customers

This is the point when some fanboy or the like jumps in to say; only a vocal minority want this feature.

If you're new to NI and find yourself wanting.......

Get used to it.

I've given up even waiting. Instead I've just written off the remix decks as some BS to sell F1 controllers. My roommate got an F1 and I've seen him use it maybe three times. The problem with locking down functionality to a specific controller, like NI has, is you limit the user base that it is made available to and thus render it more irrelevant.

Anybody who'd been DJ'ing long enough should recognize that if your set really requires a vast array of stem manipulation then you're better off doing it in Ableton anyways, where there are a variety of controller solutions available.

Especially for something as simple as adding this support to Maschine (anyone telling me otherwise is ridiculous), it SHOULD be a no brainer. Should. Hey, it might even drive more sales of an even more expensive product once people see it's actually supported and can do more than just launch clips in a matrix.

As a result of the lackluster customer service of NI, I've pretty much written off the idea of buying any more of their products in the future because I'm tired of pouring my money into a company that clearly doesn't listen to its customers.

 

I for one sold my F1. Not because I dont use the remix decks but because after my exprience with NI hardware and how easily broken it is, Id rather rely on something more stable. COme on NI. Your software is the strongest thing you have. Why waste it?

It's bordering on F*cking ridiculous. Mmmm actually. It is ridiculous. It's been over a year since the release of the F1, I'm pretty sure anyone who wanted one will have bought it by now. My Maschine is collecting dust.

My boycott of purchasing further NI goods continues.

 

I got one clear mode in my mapping reserved for this **** if it ever gets unlocked which I doubt it will...

I also lose a hope to see another set of the modifiers and more freaking condition slots.

Pretty limiting... But I guess I'm the only Traktor Freak in the town.

 

Seem interesting so many people want NI to create something then basically throw it away.
The Remix Decks were to expand Traktor ability, in most cases they are giving the software away.
Thus the sale of hardware is important so why would you not make your hardware benefit more than the next man?

NI has to deal with the fact that even people who make hardware to be used with Traktor are still their competition.

Maybe asking for more control of the Remix Decks from NO products or more Remix Deck controllers is what you should be asking for.

NI doesn't gain anything from making third party controllers work with the Remix Decks so where is the incentive?

Don't get me wrong I understand why people want it but I also understand why it's not in NIs best interest to do so.

 

NI did smart with removing my thread about "whats youre experience with NI support , good or bad" !

If it was in Traktor section the topic would be filled with complaints by now LOL

Its ridiculous the remixdecks still cant be used with Maschine tho imo. I can nderstand the third partie part, but Maschine excluded? Still today? Common, thats wack lol

 

Can you please stop spamming you support good/bad thread everywhere? A thread where all the complainers can flame about NI does not solve anything.
