Features requests

Hello devs,

I have been a Traktor pro user for about 7 years now and through the years I have gathered my toughs on what Traktor needs as of what I think of, so that my interaction with the software can be flawless and stand-alone from any other software involved (MAC OS functions).

1) Multi-playlist interface: I constantly confronting the need to have multiple windows that allows me to see more songs, be more creative by seeing other folders/playlists in front of my eyes. Side by side or up and down style, two lists of songs would aid me a lot. That way I can avoid interaction with finder and Mac folders view for alternative playlists.

2) Spotlight search style: we need an overlay search mode similar to spotlight! This is critical! with a fast shortcut, I should be able to search the entire hard-disk for a specific song without needing to use mac OS and leave Traktor interface (since I`m using it in full screen mode and it does not overlay with search results in finder).

3) Small screen mode (minimalistic design): 13.3 inch Macbook pro is not a lot of screen. We need a mode on the interface that can maximize the view of what is the most important: Decks, track list, tree folder list and that`s about it. We should be able to remove more useless double lines between zones, loops area, useless margins, top menu not needed, useless content in decks area (when viewing full mode). Maybe full customization of user interface to allow everyone to make it look like they need it to be. Small deck mode with hidden global zone and small font does not satisfy. There is a lot of things that can disappear and still maintain as much required information as possible (full deck mode without loop area, smaller buttons, etc.

4) Instant chain effects, studio quality effects with greater impact link and pre-link effects: To obtain good quality effects, like an analog guitar effect, requires a lot of tweaking, and to obtain something different, again a lot of tweaking. Instant chain effects from the press of a button with pre-saved settings on individual effects can aid the live performance a lot. Effects need to have more impact if that is what users need. Also, something related to quantize should be enabled for effects like delay if you need to have correction and obtain what you initially planned and not a train-wreck.

5) Outdoor style: Inverted colors for bright days might come in handy when you play outdoors.

Observation on something bothering: using the current search tool, after deleting the searched content, it does not return where I last was. I need to be able to search for something and then return to my initial playlist.

If the above subjects where already discussed and requested, I am sorry. If not, thank you for reading and I hope that at least some of them can be taken in consideration in future updates.

If your on mac you can invert the colors in the display settings under accessibility.
