I was recently surfing the net and remember finding a file manager/tag editor/cover art importer that was traktor related. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the app, but it caught my eye because it supposedly imported song info and cover art, and it was for mac (and PC too?) as well as being free. If anyone knows what I am talking about, it would be a great help.

That would be Trainspotter, now does key detection too.

I think the only thing you would need MIK for would be BPM detection and renaming of files to contain the key (the renaming bit I'm still working on).

Give it a try, you get 5 key detections each time you run Trainspotter, a small donation will give you unlimited key detections.

    End of plug

I don't use MIK for BPM detection so maybe it is time to try out your utility!

Cool, i'm gonna try Trainspotter tomorrow.
Trainspotter doesn't write the Key in ID3 tags?
    Thanks for the effort ;)

Yes, it does write the keys to the ID3 tags, just make sure you have the "write tag values to audio files" preference set, and that "KEY" is one of the fields to update.
