hello people. i just recently purchased the stanton final scratch 2. i've just hooked it all up and im having a few problems getting it to work correctly. when i put on one of the timecode records it calobrates ok but when i try to play one of the sample tracks thats when i run into problems. the track plays but its very distorted. i can still make out the song but its very garbled and distorted. there's also a slight delay in the timecode graphics on my computer monitor. i've tried using the troubleshooting section in the operating manual but it seems that i can't correct the problem no matter what i do. my computer also meets all the minimum requirements so im pretty much lost at what to do. please help me.

I just got my FS2 today, and had just that problem. The solution was that I had the output cables hooked up wrong. The outs on the back are a little more confusing than FS1.

The RCA's labeled phono are where you plug in the turntables. The outputs (the set of 4 RCA's grouped away from the others) are the ones that go into the Line In's on your mixer. Then the RCA's labeled "thru" go to the phono input's on your mixer.
To play FS, you switch the channel on your mixer to line, to play traditional rekkid, swith to phono.
