well, im just finished install, opened it, tested a couple songs, all the S4 interactions and buttons, and nothing seems faulty so far, this night im gonna test it a little bit more, my week´s gigs start on thursday so i have plenty of time to test and validate if this update is worth the wait , if not, i will notify my "roll back"

All in all 2.1.2 seems to work quite well but that cue problem on cdjs still exists...
If i set a cue point on my cdj, and hit it the first 2 or 3 hits the cue point sounds great but after 2 or 3 hits the cue point moves a feew frames forwards... That sucks... hoped NI fixed that bug. Im vrey disappointed. That is probably the end of traktor usage for me... I will go back to CDs...

Have you got snap & quantise on? I use vinyl & a controller, snap & quantise will cause the symptoms you described, just thought id say, you never know that might be it.

Also how long did the update take to download? My internet connection sucks bad, its going so slow :(

Hi, I also updated to 2.1.2 and, as Frank said, the way timecode CUEs are working are still buggy in my opinion. It shouldn`t matter wheter or not snap and/or quantize are On or Off, since in earlier versions of Traktor it used to work fine.

Also, when you load a track into one of the decks, and this track has a Load Cue point (Load Marker) set, I can see one bug and one strange concept happening here:

    - Traktor should CUE automatically to that Load Marker if I had chosen the option 'Initially cue to Load Marker' in the Preferences panel, even if the 'Switch to Absolute Mode when loading' option is ticked in the Timecode Setup. Don't you think this make more sense?

    - BUG: even when Traktor initially cues to the Load Marker, for some reason, sometimes, when I hit Play in the CDJ, Traktor starts to play some seconds behind the Load Marker I have set.

I also got today, while playing for some minutes, something around 64 USB errors (or something called like that) in the Audio 8 control panel, which made me feel really insecure about it. What does this tell about? My audio setup in Traktor usually stays around 8.7 ms of latency.

Setup: TSP 2.1.2 Full Timecode CD, Audio 8 latest driver (firmware 23 if I remember well?), Macbook Pro earlier 2011, Core i5, OSX 2.6.8, 4GB, X1.

My Audio 8 DJ has been clocking up around 80 USB streaming errors. Firmware 24, latest driver.

Seems like multi-core preference is a big killer for me. When ON, i had 80 buffer overruns in 1-2 mins.

OFF - i was able to reduce my latency and actually got ZERO overruns and no snaps + pops.

And my overall cpu is way down.

Installed 2.1.2, enabled multi-core support. Update is great! All my problems solved, I was even able to cut my sample buffer in half, getting my latency down to 6 ms! Really running nicely, I even ran 4 decks simultaneously and couldn't get any clicks or pops unless I changed an FX unit while it was routed, which I wouldn't ever do anyways. I say to everyone: give it a try!

Thanks NI! My faith is restored.

MIDI sync with Maschine through Traktor Virtual Output still sucks, BUT now I can totally sync traktor with Ableton, through the same Traktor Virtual Output and use Maschine as VST plugin inside Ableton )
Before 2.1.2 it was impossible on my system, which is MBP 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 Gb RAM, Traktor 2.1.2, Ableton 8.2.6, Maschine 1.7.1, Audio 8 DJ

I played around with my vinyl timecode for about an hour... All seems OK, same as 2.1.1, which I didn't have a problem with. The only thing I noticed is that the Remaining Time display on the decks jump to 2787 when the track ends and the timecode keeps spinning (see pic).

I don't know why new bugs get introduces in every update... it's disappointing, even though it's probably harmless.

    I'll give 2.1.2 a try on the S4 tomorrow.

When I run TSP2 I have processor load like this:
    - 32% (1 track playing)
    - 34% (2 tracks playing)
    - 30% (program Idle)

Is it normal to have procesor load on 30% when TSP2 is idle?

    Specs: MacBook Pro C2D 2.66Ghz, 4Gb Ram, 256 SSD

who gives a ****? 30% isn't exactly much given full load on your system is 200%.

Maybe not exactly normal but preferable to the approx. 107% I'm getting!

Is it me or did this go straight from beta testing into production? :)
